Our Story: From Passion to Community Hub
Founded by Betty, a dedicated artisan with over 35 years of teaching experience, our studio is more than just a space—it's a labor of love and a dream brought to life. Betty's journey as an educator and artist started long before she retired from teaching public school visual arts. Whether working with clay, experimenting with textiles, or exploring collage, she’s always had a passion for creative expression and sharing that joy with others.
When Betty made the decision to retire, she wasn’t ready to step away from the transformative power of teaching. Instead, she envisioned a place where people of all ages could gather, explore new mediums, and rediscover the joy of creating. And so, The Village Studio was born—a welcoming space to spark creativity and foster connections.
